Goff signs with Team IHG® Rewards Club for the 2016 BTCC season

Team IHG® Rewards Club have signed Jack Goff for the 2016 BTCC season.

Goff’s short BTCC career so far has shown promise for the young driver, with a ninth place in last year’s championship and a win in Snetterton.

The impressive season last year has given Team IHG® Rewards Club faith that the High Wycombe racer will build on the success the team has seen last year. In only its second year as a BTCC race team, the West Surrey Racing run team is now looking to pose as a serious contender for the championship.

“I am extremely proud and honoured to have been selected to drive for Team IHG® Rewards Club,” said Goff.

“Representing such a well-known brand, with a clear history of supporting racing talent, is fantastic and I hope to ‘reward’ the faith shown in me. Similarly, the prestige of driving a BMW for a legendary team like West Surrey Racing represents a real dream come true for me.”

“Ultimately, I want to become BTCC champion and challenging for the title is my immediate goal – I can’t wait to get started with WSR and Team IHG® Rewards Club.”

“In 2016, we are excited to welcome Jack Goff to Team IHG® Rewards Club as our new driver,” said Adrian White, Director Brand Parterships IHG. “Jack is an exciting young talent who is already a fans’ favourite in the TOCA paddock.”

“We are very excited with IHG® Rewards Club’s decision to take Jack on board, as we have watched him develop into a top BTCC driver over the last couple of years,” said WSR Team Principal. “The 2016 Dunlop MSA BTCC championship is shaping up to be another great season, so with Jack joining WSR it will further strengthen our already strong line up.”

Next on the to-do list for Goff is media duties at Autosport International in Birmingham, then to pre-season testing, where he will be able to adjust to the BMW 125i M Sport he’ll be driving in the coming season.
