Tom Ingram will remain at Speedworks for the 2017 British Tourinc Car Championship.
The High Wycombe driver finished tenth overall this season, his best year in BTCC to date. Ingram took two wins, and four further podiums over the thirty races this year.
“It’s the best year’s racing we’ve had,” Ingram told TouringCarTimes. “We’ve achieved everything we wanted to achieve at the start of the year by getting a win, getting a pole, and getting podiums.
“We’ve filled every place on the podium, we’ve been the highest average qualifier throughout the year, and I think we’ve done a sterling job.”
Ingram now looks to developing the car over the winter, and hopes to come back with a “better package” next year.
2017 will be Ingram’s fourth year with Speedworks in the BTCC.
