Comment: Priaulx took the strongest start of the season before the summer break. After a relatively rocky start, he managed a five-race-long string of victories put him 16 points ahead of his closest rivals.
Comment: Priaulx couldn’t match the first half of the season after the summer break. A series of spins in the first round back at Snetterton was just the start of a more difficult series of races. He switched to HHC Motorsport for the final three rounds of the year, taking a series of podiums for the team, but it wasn’t until the final round of the season that he managed to take the top step.
Overall Grade: B+
Best moment of the season: In the middle of the string of race wins, Priaulx claimed two lights to flag victories at Oulton Park. With news breaking in the morning he’d lost his Thruxton race win due to a technical infringement, Priaulx managed a fantastic launch from pole in race one. Aided by a tough battle for second behind him, Priaulx finished mroe than four seconds ahead of Tom Wood in second. A similar strong start allowed Priaulx to snatch the lead from Dan Harper at the start of race two, eventually finishing more than five second ahead of the next driver.
Worst moment of the season: Priaulx claimed a race win at Thruxton after a race long battle with Tom Gamble and Harry King, but an off-track battle made things harder. He and team-mate Harry Dyson were excluded from the meeting due to technical infringements. It was only after taking an appeal to the MSA National court that Priaulx and his team-mate were handed back the points they had lost.
