Hype Energy eForce India is a new eSports Sim-Racing team announced today as a collaboration between Formula One team Force India and their sponsor Hype Energy Drinks.
Hype Energy eForce India has been announced as a new eSports team between Hype Energy and Force India, It is highly speculated that the team will compete in the F1 eSports series as well as the Hype Energy title sponsored Apex Online Racing series on the F1 by Codemasters game series.
The relationship between Hype Energy and Force India was already strong with the energy drinks firm sponsoring the team for several seasons in the Formula One world championship and brings a strong knowledge of eSports to the table via a long term partnership with Epsilon eSports.
Hype Energy confirmed that they already have begun the process of signing drivers to the team and will begin a development driver programme in the coming weeks, and that the signed drivers identities would be revealed in a series of films created by the new eSports team during the season.
Hype Energy CEO Bertrand Gachot, in a press release on the Hype Energy website stated:

While most F1 enthusiasts know Hype Energy’s affiliation with Sahara Force India F1 team, they may not know that we are also heavily involved in esports, through long term partnerships with some of the most successful gaming organisations in Europe such as Epsilon Esports and Oscaro Esports. We are also investing in the development of online racing leagues through our partnership with Apex Online Racing to keep learning and improving the energetic experience we provide in simulator racing and esports.
The creation of Hype Energy eForce India will provide a dynamic platform to demonstrate to the world what virtual F1 racing is all about, through exclusive behind the scenes content and plenty of racing action.
