Zulfahmi Khairuddin has left the SIC Moto2 team with immediate effect as of Tuesday, May 8th, citing a lack of results and progress as the reason.
After another disappointing result at Jerez, where he failed to finish, Khairuddin and the team decided to mutually end the current arrangement, and will be looking for another rider by Le Mans. He cited the lack of progress in understanding the Moto2 bike, as well as results being poor.
He was always going to have a big job on his hands after being drafted in as a last minute replacement for Hafizh Syahrin, but has found a return to the GP paddock to be much harder for him to settle into than last time he was here on a Moto3 KTM.
