Petter Solberg leads the overnight standings at the World RX of Belgium after Mattias Ekstrӧm sets the fastest time in Q2.
The third round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Mettet sees the PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver, Solberg, at the top of the overnight standings after winning Q1 and scoring the third fastest time in Q2.
Ekstrom of EKS Audi Sport recorded the fastest time in Q2 which moved him up the standings to end the day in second despite a slow Q1 where he lost the back end of the car at the start.
Timmy Hansen is the first of the Team Peugeot Sport’s in third, and missed out on the fastest lap in Q2 by 0.015 seconds; with teammate, Sébastien Loeb sits fourth.
Johan Kristoffersson sits fifth overnight ahead of Kevin Hansen and Andreas Bakkerud.
Robin Larsson was the best of the rest in the Olsberg MSE in eighth with teammate Kevin Eriksson in the final semi-final spot after suffering a puncture in Q2.
The two GC Kompetition drivers, Guerlain Chicherit and Jérôme Grosset-Janin, end the day in ninth and thirteenth respectively.
The teammates of Timur Timerzyanov and Niclas Grӧnholm battled hard in Q1 with Timerzyanov coming out on top and ending the day in tenth with Grӧnholm in fourteenth.
Belgian Franҫois Duval sits eleventh overnight whilst the two individual entries of Janis Baumanis and Grégoire Demoustier are fifteenth and sixteenth.
