Jamie Chadwick claimed pole position in the wet at Hockenheim for the inaugural W Series race by almost two seconds.
The MRF champion was fastest in both of Friday’s free practice sessions. The British driver was the only one to record a time under two minutes, with fastest time of 1m58.894s.
Alongside Chadwick on the front row will be Fabienne Wohlwend. The second row will feature Sarah Moore and Emma Kimilainen.
Marta Garcia will start the race in fifth ahead of Alice Powell, who bought the red flag out and an early finish to the session after a spin. Vicky Piria starts seventh ahead of Beitske Visser.
Despite missing the whole of FP1 Esmee Hawkey qualified ninth, with Gosia Rdest completing the top 10.
Jessica Hawkins just missed out on the top 10 and starts the race ahead of Caitlin Wood and Sabre Cook.
Megan Gilkes will start 14th. Naomie Schiff and Tasmin Pepper will line up alongside each other with Miki Koyama and Shea Holbrook on the back row.
Can Chadwick make it a clean sweep and secure her place in the history books with the first win of the W Series?
