Timmy Hansen leads brother Kevin Hansen in the overnight standings at the Dayinsure World RX of Great Britain.
Timmy Hansen topped the table in both of the days qualifying sessions to secure his place as overnight top qualifier. Whilst brother Kevin was second fastest in Q1 and third in Q2.
Andreas Bakkerud fought with the Hansen MJP’s in both heats and finished the day in third after recording third in Q1 and seventh in Q2.
Krisztian Szabo started the day with a race win and finished Q1 in seventh. In Q2 he was in a close battle with Joni Wiman where he finished second and the session in sixth. Wiman, replacing Niclas Gronholm who is recovering from appendix surgery, was ninth in Q1 and ends the day in sixth.
In Q1 despite a couple of mistakes Anton Marklund looked to be as quick as the Hansen brothers where he finished the session in fourth, ninth in Q2 sees him fifth overnight.
Timo Scheider lost a lot of time in his first race battling with Szabo and Mark Higgins, and ended the session in sixteenth. However, in Q2 the German put in strong laptimes after taking the joker on lap one to record the second fastest time of the session and bump him up to seventh overnight.
Guerlain Chicherit ends the day in eighth ahead of Liam Doran who is looking to secure a place in the semi-finals for his home race.
Winner last time out at Spa, Timur Timerzyanov, finished third on track in both his races and is tenth overnight. Janis Baumanis ended up facing the tyre wall in Q1, but went on to finish the race. He recovered his overall position to eleventh after finishing Q2 in fourth.
Sitting in the last semi-final position is Guillaume De-Ridder. Whilst Oliver Bennett is just outside, despite a race win in Q2.
Jani Paasonen is fourteenth overnight ahead of Mark Higgins and Cyril Raymond.
Herve Knapick sits at the bottom of the table after failing to make it to the grid for Q1, a problem believed to have been picked up in practice. Knapick was unable to recover any positions overall after stalling at the start of Q2.
