Tergutha to build on winter success with HHC Motorsport

Will Tregutha will continue with HHC in his second Ginetta Junior season

Will Tregutha will continue to race with HHC Motorsport in the Ginetta Junior championship in 2016.

The teenager joined the series last year with race team Richard Chassis Engineering, finishing inside the top five of the rookie class, before switching to HHC Motorsport in the winter series.

Tregutha found success in the winter series in November, with his first outright podium at Snetterton and finishing fifth overall at the end of the weekend.

“The Winter Series was a great experience with HHC,” said Tregutha.

“I will be giving it everything to win races for them and push for the title in 2016.”

“It’s an exciting time to be part of the Ginetta Junior Championship,” he continued. “With more races on the calendar this season I hope we can give the fans at the tracks and on TV some action-packed racing. It’s what the championship is known for and the quality of drivers who have come through this series and gone on to win titles, such as Lando Norris, Jamie Caroline, Charlie Robertson, Jamie Chadwick, and James Kallett, make it all the more attractive to be part of.”

Ashley Gallagher, the Ginetta Championships’ Manager, is positive about the announcement.

“Will is certainly one to watch next season,” he said. “He’s had a full season in the championship under his belt, and should be in a strong position to challenge for results next year. We look forward to following his development as part of HHC Motorsport.”
