Ginetta and BTCC extend partnership

Ginetta has extended its partnership with the BTCC for another three years, meaning the Ginetta Junior Championship and the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup will continue to run as part of the TOCA package.

The Ginetta Junior Championship, which has been part of the package since 2008, will continue to follow BTCC to all ten of the race weekends. The GT4 SuperCup, which joined the package in 2009 as the Michelin Ginetta G50 Cup, will appear at eight of the ten race weekends.

“Ginetta is undoubtedly the biggest presence on the BTCC support bill,” said Ginetta chairman, Lawrence Tomlinson. “We very much enjoy seeing our Ginetta ladder, from Juniors and GT5 into SuperCup, being part of these weekends. On behalf of Ginetta, I am delighted to extend our partnership with TOCA for a further three years and look forward to seeing the championships continue to flourish as part of our of the UK’s finest motorsport packages.”

The TOCA package gives the series that follow the BTCC incredible media coverage, unseen by most junior and support series.

Michelin will also continue as title sponsor of the SuperCup until 2018, and the series will continue to be recognised as a BRDC qualifying championship.
