Ciceley Motorsport have confirmed two more drivers for their 2017 Renault Clio Cup campaign. Luke Reade and Sam Osborne will join the already confirmed Max Coates at the team.
Both drivers take the step up from the MINI Challenge and have already tested in a Clio Cup car at Silverstone.
“As soon as I tested the UK Clio Cup car at Silverstone and saw how Ciceley worked I knew it’s where I wanted to be in 2017,” said Reade. “I think the UK Clio Cup car will suit my driving style more and I’m looking forward to getting some serious testing done in the New Year and working on the data side with Max [Coates].”
Both drivers are looking forward to the exposure that comes with racing in the TOCA package.
“The UK Clio Cup car is clearly extremely well put together and when I tested with Ciceley it just felt amazing to driver,” said Osborne. “Like Luke, I’m looking forward to getting stuck into a preseason testing programme with the team and Max.”
Ciceley now have three drivers confirmed for the 2017 season, but there could still be more to come from the team. Team principal Adam Morgan has said the team might expand to four or even five cars next season.
