JHR Developments have added scholarship finalist Matt Luff to their Ginetta Junior line up this season.
Luff will make his car racing debut with the team after a successful Ginetta Junior Scholarship campaign last year.
The team says the teenager has impressed in tests so far, and has a good shot of finishing on the podium this season.
Luff, meanwhile, is confident he’ll have a shot at the rookie championship, after finishing inside the top three in the scholarship.
“After a very successful 2016 in karts, I’m looking forward to the move into cars and hope to build upon my success of finishing top three in the Ginetta Junior Scholarship,” he said. “I’m sure that with JHR behind me I can progress throughout the year and have an outstanding season.”
JHR Developments have already confirmed three drivers for their 2017 campaign. Harry Dyson and Jenson Dineen both have Ginetta Junior experience, though they have only completed a handful of rounds between them, whilst Adam Smalley will be making his car racing debut this season.
