Alexandra Mohnhaupt will return to the British Formula 4 for a one off appearance with Fortec Motorsport at Snetterton.
The Mexican racer competed in two rounds of the British championship last season with Falcon Motorsport, finishing just outside the top 10 in two of the six racer. She is currently competing with the MomoF4 Team in the NACAM series, which was on the support bill for the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix last year.
The move to Fortec is part of a deal to test the team’s Formula 3 car.
“Big news!! I’ll be testing with Fortec team the F3 car and racing with the same team one race of the British F4 Championship. So happy and excited about it!” she said on social media.
Mahnhaupt will join Oliver York and Hampus Ericsson at Fortec. Both are racing in the Ford F4 Challenge Cup and are only required to enter seven rounds.
