With Grand Pier F1 Sim Challenge at an end, we take a look back at the intense competition…
Over the past few months, Overtake Motorsport readers have been competing for a Supercar Experience, along with the pride and prestige that goes hand in hand with a simulator racing victory.
Contenders came flooding in from around the country to lay down their impressively quick laps, hoping to reign supreme.
The competition ended with David Little taking the crown, with an impressive time of 1.10:100. The top three were only separated by half a second, with Tristan Blackwell and James Scott-Murphy taking 2nd and 3rd.
The Grand Pier has provided a superb location for this competition, boasting an array of attractions. Their F1 simulator, used for our competition, not only has complete surround sound, but force-feedback controls to make the experience even more authentic. Whether you want to try your hand at day or night, wet or dry racing, just pick your favourite track and you’re away!
As well as the F1 simulator, used for the competition, they have Go Karts and Dodgems on offer too. For the adrenaline seekers, there is a Robocoaster, Britain’s smallest rollercoaster that could send you in any direction, and the House of Horrors, their terrifying ghost train.
For those that love a challenge, the pier hosts a Laser Maze made up of four levels of difficulty, and their very own Crystal Maze, a real mirrored madhouse! If you like things a little more old school, there is a classic arcade to keep you amused.
Everyone at Overtake Motorsport, and all the competitors would like to thank the staff at the Grand Pier for their help and support in running this competition.
