Finnish rider Niki Tuuli will join the MotoGP paddock when he jumps aboard the SIC Racing Team Kalex in Le Mans.
Tuuli will move over from the World Supersport Championship, vacating the CIA Landlord Insurance Honda CBR600RR berth, replacing Zulfahmi Khairuddin.
He comes to the Moto2 paddock having achieved his best ride of the season so far with seventh at Imola, and lies eighth in the World SSP championship after four rounds, however his breakthrough came in 2016, having competed three of the last four races of that year and managing to take second place in each of them. This earned him a full time ride in 2017 with Kallio Racing Yamaha, where he gained a pole position and two more podiums which included a win at Magny-Cours to add to his CV.
