Falken Motorsports have announced that they will be extending its programme in the VLN Endurance series for the 2018 season.
The team, who’s BMW M6 and Porsche 911 GT3-R both finished the 2018 Nurburgring 24 Hour Race in the top 20, will be entering four out of the remaining seven races with both cars that finished last month’s 24hr event.
Falken Motorsports will be looking to continue their success with their proven driver roster staying in place. The Porsche will be driven by Austrians Klaus Bachler and Martin Ragginger with Porsche works drivers Dirk Werner and Sven Müller also sharing some of the driving duties. Alexandre Imperatori and Jens Klingmann will share the driving for the BMW’s opening event whilst Stef Dusseldorp will join the team for the second event. Later in the season, British driver and Falken mainstay Peter Dumbreck will get his chance to drive later in the season.
The Nürburgring VLN Endurance Championship is a series that regularly attracts average grids of 170 cars as they compete on one of the world’s most challenging and famous racetracks – the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
