Caio Collet leads the final pre-season testing session in Austria as he raced for his first season in the FIA Formula 3 with MP Motorsport.
The Brazilian racing driver set the fastest time on the second afternoon session as he breaks the F3 track record in the Red Bull Ring circuit proving the quickest time of testing with a 1:18.592.
Dennis Hauger made a massive improvement throughout the pre-season testing sessions as the 18-years-old driver ended the session second fastest for Prema with an impressive 1:18.711, ahead of Jak Crawford in third for Hitech.
Johnny Edgar finished the session in 4th fastest for Carlin, with Matteo Nannini in 5th as the leading HWA driver and Frederik Vesti 6th for ART.
Trident’s Clement Novalak was 7th, followed by Michael Belov in 8th for Charouz racing and the second Prema racing driver Olli Caldwell in 9th.
Alexandr Smolyar ended the session in 10th, with Amaury Cordeel in 11th fastest for Campos, ahead of the Czech racing driver Roman Stanek in 12th for the second Hitech.
Logan Sargeant finished the session in 13th fastest for Charouz Racing matching the result from his first morning session with Pierre Louis Chovet in 14th, leaving Oliver Rasmussen in 15th for HWA.
Ayumu Iwasa placed the third Hitech car in 16th ahead of Calan Williams as he continued to race after the crash in 17th for Jenzer Motorsport alongside Arthur Leclerc in 18th.
Juan Manuel Correa ended the afternoon session in 19th for ART with both of the Trident drivers, Jack Doohan and David Schumacher, closed the session in 20th and 21st fastest exclusively.
The rookie Filip Ugran managed to claim the 22nd position for Jenzer Motorsport with Rafael Villagomez in 23rd for HWA and the last Campos Racing driver Lorenzo Colombo in 24th.
New driver Reshard De Gerus finished the session 25th fastest for Charouz Racing, ahead of Laszlo Toth in 26th for Campos Racing and Kaylen Frederick in 27th for Carlin.
Dutch racing driver Tjimen Van Der Helm secured the 28th spot for the last MP Motorsport car leaving Ido Cohen in 29th for Carlin.
The FIA F3 will return for its action of the second pre-season test in Barcelona on 21-22 of April, ahead of the third test in Jerez.
