Rory Butcher took his first BTCC victory of 2021 after dominating race 2 at Oulton Park.
Butcher started fourth but was able to take the lead before the end of the first lap.
Polesitter Dan Rowbottom again started well and was followed into turn 1 by Gordon Shedden and Butcher.
Butcher then passed Shedden and Rowbottom in two corners, taking the lead at Kickerbrook.
Shedden then dropped behind Adam Morgan and Jake Hill.
Jack Goff and Ollie Jackson appeared to make contact later in the lap, with Goff crashing into the barrier, but was able to restart.
The bumping and bashing continued with Josh Cook, Jason Plato, Sam Osbourne and Colin Turkington all making contact at the hairpin.
Butcher carried on extending his lead to almost two seconds with Rowbottom, Morgan, Hill and Moffat all fighting for second place.
The tight nature of the Oulton Park circuit meant that overtaking was difficult which meant the running order at the front did not change for the final few laps, despite the small gaps between the cars.
Rowbottom and Morgan were therefore able to finish on the podium with Hill, Moffat and Shedden just behind.
Stephen Jelley was able to hold of Championship leader Ash Sutton for seventh with Senna Proctor and Tom Ingram rounding out the top 10.
