Rory Butcher took his first pole position since 2020 and his first in a Toyota as he topped the second top 10 shootout of the year.
Butcher was dominant throughout practice, topping both sessions, and carried on that form into qualifying, taking pole in the shootout by just 0.016s from the Hyundai of Tom Ingram.
Butcher was also quickest in the first part of qualifying.
Coming into the final few minutes of the session Butcher was sat in third behind Ingram and Aiden Moffat but a last gasp effort put him on pole.
Moffat carried on his good form from Croft, qualifying third ahead of the BTC Racing Honda of Josh Cook.
Dan Lloyd qualified a season best fifth ahead of Colin Turkington and Dan Rowbottom.
Ash Sutton, Stephen Jelley and Jason Plato rounded out the top 10.
