Williams have revealed the look of their 2023 car at their season launch today.

The Williams FW45 was revealed along with the team’s new race suits and team kit, designed by Umbro, becoming the third team to reveal their 2023 challenger.

The livery of the car looks largely similar to the design of last year’s car.

Williams launched the car using a show car, however there will be a shakedown of the real car next Monday.

This is the first car that Logan Sargant will drive in F1, following a 4th place finish in Formula 2 which saw him pick up 148 points and 2 wins. He he hopes he can bring some “mental toughness” to the team.

The team also sees another new addition in James Vowles becoming Team Principal. Alex Albon described Vowles as “very motivated to push the team along” and said he provides an opportunity for Williams “to look at the areas where a top team like them, what are they doing differently to us, and how can we adapt.”

The team also announced that Gulf Oil will now be sponsoring the team from 2023. The company had partnered with McLaren since 2020, but left at the end of last year.

Other new sponsors were announced as well, which are Stephens Ink, Michelob ULTRA and PureStream.

The next car launch will be tomorrow when Alfa Romeo reveal the C43.
