McLaren’s Oscar Piastri won the Qatar sprint race ahead of George Russell and Lando Norris.
Piastri converted pole into the lead at the start ahead of Mercedes driver Russell, while his team-mate Norris maintained third and Fernando Alonso out to Red Bull duo Yuki Tsunoda and Max Verstappen.
Verstappen soon dispatched his teammate before giving chase to Norris but he was unable to grab the final podium spot.
Piastri led Russell until the finish, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli pounced on a mistake from Russell to take sixth.
Carlos Sainz was eighth, while Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton struggled o a distant 13th and 17th.
