Dutchman Ruben Del Sarte will join HHC motorsport for the 2017 Ginetta Junior championship.
The fifteen year old competed in the Ginetta Junior scholarship, making it to the final 10 contenders, before competing in the Winter Series.
“After driving the Ginetta Junior at Blyton for the scholarship and racing in the Ginetta Junior Winter series, the obvious choice to pursue my career in motosport is the 2017 Championship,” he said. “I like the HHC guys and they helped me a lot so far, so I can’t wait to race again.”
2017 will be Del Sarte’s first year in car racing as he makes the move up from karting but HHC Team Owner Charlie Kemp is optimistic about the rookie’s debut.
“In early test days he has proven a dedicated driver that has a massive appetite to learn new skills, I am confident that even with the ever increasing standard of drivers joining the championshop, that with the test programme we have in place he can be fighting for Rookie class podiums which should see him a challenger for the Rookie title.”
