Frederick Lubin has been announced as Arden Motorsports first driver for the 2021 BRDC British F3 season after a successful maiden debut with the team in British Formula 4.

After a promising first season in single-seater racing with Arden Motorsport in British F4, Frederick Lubin becomes the first driver announced for the Banbury-Based outfit. The Brit is the latest to graduate from the Arden-affiliated Young Racing Driver Academy.

During the 2020 British F4 season, Lubin took multiple Rookie Cup wins and ended the season taking the vice Rookie cup Champion honours. Overall, he finished ninth in the standings after showing commemorable race pace throughout the season. Lubin scored points in 21 of his 26 race starts in the series.

The Banbury Based team recently announced that they would make their debut in the British F3 championship in 2021. They have had successful campaigns both nationally and internationally in the Formula Renault Eurocup and British Formula 4 Championships.

Team Principal Garry Horner has said: “Everybody at Arden Motorsport is delighted to extend our partnership with Frederick into the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship next year.

“He’s a popular figure with everybody at the team, and the results he brought home last year speak volumes about his development as a driver.

“It’s now time for a new challenge, and one the team is looking forward to greatly as we expand into British F3.

“Winter testing so far has been very positive, and there’s definitely a good atmosphere building ahead of the new year.

“We look forward to unveiling Frederick’s team-mates for next season in due course and continuing the countdown to our debut in the series at Oulton Park in Easter.”

Talking on his graduation to British F3, Frederick Lubin has said: “I’m really excited to announce the next step in my single seater journey with Arden – the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.

“We enjoyed a really positive, successful season together in British F4 in 2020, and I’m really looking forward to building on that development in the year ahead.

“The car itself is fantastic, and I’m already feeling very comfortable with the environment we’ve built up within the team for next season.

“The aim now is to continue that progress over the winter and be ready to hit the ground running in mine – and the teams – debut in April.”
