Max Marzorati is to race with Chris Dittmann Racing for the 2021 season. The 20-year-old driver started karting at the age of 13 and showed lots of promise in the early stages. Proving this, he immediately won a club title at Rye House in 2014. Since then, he has taken part in Formula Ford 1600 and the Renault UK Clio Cup Junior series.
To fund his 2021 season, he has taken to working around the clock in different roles such as a painter and decorator and working early morning shifts in a local biscuit factory.
At the same time, he is a charity worker in his role as motorsport ambassador for automotive charity ben. He hopes to bring more awareness to the charity throughout the 2021 season. The charities logo can be found on the car also.
Max is the first driver to be announced for Chris Dittmann Racing for the 2021 season.
Speaking on his 2021 seat, Max Marzorati has said: “I am so pleased and extremely grateful, especially in light of the difficult year COVID-19 made 2020 for so many people in so many ways, to be able to compete in my first full season since 2017. I will not be taking anything for granted and how can I ever thank Adrian Flux, my supporters, friends and family enough for helping to make this happen. Recognising the fortunate position I find myself in, I feel it is important to me that I do all I can to remind everyone of the fantastic work ben.org.uk do to support those in need.
“To return to the incredible proven race winning Chris Dittmann Racing Team with all their experience is a dream come true, and the whole team made me feel part of the family from the moment I arrived last year, so I am so looking forward to 2021.”
Chris Dittmann, Team Principal has commented on the arrival of Max: “It’s a pleasure to work with Max and we’re very pleased to be teaming up for a full season this year. He made massive progress with us in the two rounds at the end of last season and we’re excited to see how that continues over the course of a full season this time around.
“He has a genuine in-depth knowledge and passion for the sport, and he puts that enthusiasm into everything he does over the course of a race weekend.
“It’s great to announce our first driver for the forthcoming BRDC British F3 season, and preparations are now fully underway. We’re looking forward to finalising our driver line-up in the coming weeks.”
