Clement Novalak keeps the streaks going for Trident as he ended the second-morning session of the FIA Formula 3 in-season testing in Jerez fastest.
The French driver continued to put Trident on top of the board after his teammate Jack Doohan ended both sessions from the first day of testing on top of the timing sheet.
Novalak secured his best finish from the two days of testing in Jerez, setting the fastest time with a 1:28.677 ahead of ART’s Frederik Vesti in second.
Enzo Fittipaldi managed to close the session in third fastest for Charouz with an insanely close gap, 0.001s quicker than Jack Doohan in fourth for Trident.
The reigning champion of Formula Renault Victor Martins rounded out the top 5 with a 1:29.144, leaving his teammate Caio Collet in sixth for MP Motorsport.
Jak Crawford was seventh for Hitech as both of the ART drivers Alex Smolyar and Juan Manuel Correa managed to put the team inside the top 10 as they closed the following session in eighth and ninth, respectively.
Rookie Jonny Edgar was tenth for Carlin with just 0.004 away from Ayumu Iwasa in eleventh for the second Hitech.
The second-afternoon session from the testing in Jerez will start at 13.00 local time.
