Victor Martins secures his first-ever F3 win in a frantic battle over the race lead, pulling out the risky moves to snatch the long race leader Clement Novalak position to take the home win for MP Motorsport.

This season, Martins marked the 11th different winner, after beating four drivers to pole, from the fifth position, slowly gaining places with a compelling strategy.

The Frenchman surge into the lead with less than ten laps before the race ends, as he jumped into the opportunity, running faster than Clement Novalak in his Trident, leaving an insanely close gap behind.

This was Novalak’s second podium finish of the season. Despite the unpleasant feeling of almost winning the race, the French-Swiss driver made it to the podium after a tough battle from Martins ahead of ART’s Frederik Vesti in third.

The championship leader Dennis Hauger almost made it to the top 5 before the collision happened between Carlin’s Ido Cohen, as Hauger dropped down to the 27th position in the last two laps of the race.

His rival Jack Doohan didn’t earn any points from Race 2, dropping back to 19th after going into the gravel with less than a few sectors to run.

MP Motorsport’s Caio Collet appeared in the fourth place ahead of Trident’s David Schumacher, denying Olli Caldwell to finish inside the top 5 by closing the gap to less than half a second to the Briton.

The PREMA Racing duo, Olli Caldwell and Arthur Leclerc, ended the 24 laps long race in the sixth and seventh place, respectively.

Last round podium finishers Jak Crawford was eighth for Hitech Grand Prix, followed by HWA Racelab’s Matteo Nannini in ninth and Charouz Racing’s Logan Sargeant finishing one place behind the Italian driver.

The last race of the Dutch Grand Prix will get underway at 10.45 local time as Dennis Hauger seeks another chance to strengthen the championship lead from pole position.
