Last year’s best rookie of the season Victor Martins, set the best lap time with a 1:48.250 for his new team ART Grand Prix before the red flag emerged.
The championship favourites, Victor Martins, proved himself on the top of the timetable in the fourth session of the pre-season test in Bahrain after getting beaten by Hitech’s rookie Isack Hadjar earlier this morning.
Roman Stanek ended the day’s final session in second fastest for Trident, with Isack Hadjar in third after pulling out another strong performance for the British team.
ART’s Gregoire Saucy made it to the top 5 for the second time today in fourth fastest ahead of Alexander Smolyar in fifth for MP Motorsport.
Kaylen Frederik was sixth fastest as the second Hitech driver with MP Motorsport’s Caio Collet in seventh and the American driver, Jonny Edgar, in eighth fastest for Trident.
Carlin’s Zak O’Sullivan completed the session in ninth ahead of Kush Maini in tenth fastest as he made it a solid day for MP Motorsport to get all of their drivers inside the top 10.
The final morning session of the weekend will start at 09.00 AM local times.
