Paul Rivett is determined to take his fourth Clio Cup title this season with WDE Motorsport.
The 38-year-old already has three titles under his belt and believes he could have been in the title fight last season if luck had been on his side.
Rivett finished the 2016 season fourth with two race wins and nine podiums.
“I’m hungrier than ever and want nothing more than my fourth title,” said Rivet. “The only way I’ll accept not winning it this year is if one of my teammates beats me.
“As a team we’ve put so much hard work in behind the scenes these last three years and had it not been for some cruel luck mid-season last year we’d have been right in the hunt at the last round. WDE Motorsport now really are in a great place.”
With Rivett and Dan Zelos now announced for the 2017 season, WDE is aiming for the teams’ title in what it believes will be the most “exciting” season for the team.
