Colin Turkington has been given a two second penalty for ‘gaining an advantage under yellow flags’ during race 2 of the BTCC finale at Brands Hatch.
Turkington overtook Dan Cammish as they came across the stricken Audi S3 of Paul Rivett at Paddock Hill Bend on Lap 22.
Rivett spun on the exit of turn 1 with both Turkington and Cammish slowing down to avoid the incident.
However, Cammish slowed down more, giving the position the BMW driver.
The stewards gave Turkington a two-second penalty dropping him down to fourth and promoting Cammish into third.
This means going into the final race of the season Ash Sutton leads Turkington by 11 points and Cammish by 20 points.

1 – Ash Sutton 340
