Oliver Bearman completes Fortec Motorsports 2021 BRDC British F3 lineup. He will be competing alongside his Formula 4 campaigns with Van Amersfoort Racing.
The young brit graduated to single-seaters in 2020 after a stellar performance in karting which saw him take European and World titles at the Junior X30 level. It wasn’t long before Bearman showed this promise in single-seaters also. Prompting his graduation to British F3.
This season he will take part in BRDC British F3 alongside German and Italian Formula 4. The 16-year-old has already started his Italian F4 championship with a pole position and two podiums. As all three championships race simultaneously, he will not complete a full season in one.
Oliver Bearman has said: “I’m really excited to be joining Fortec Motorsport’s team for the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.
“The relationship with the whole team is fantastic, and the car itself is so much fun to drive. I’m looking forward to kicking things off with this weekend at Brands Hatch GP.”
Oliver Dutton, Team Manager has also said: “It’s great to be able to formally welcome Ollie to our BRDC British Formula 3 Championship team after a series of successful tests with the team.
“Driver development is one area of the sport our family-run team excels at, so we’re very excited to play a role in helping Ollie with the next steps in his career after a very successful start in Formula 4.
“I’m sure between him, Roberto and Mikkel, we can make a positive start to the season at Brands Hatch this weekend and then push on from there.”
