Ash Sutton came from 11th on the grid to take an outstanding victory at race two at Snetterton.
Polesitter Colin Turkington led at the start once again, but defended aggressively from Tom Ingram going into the hairpin at turn two.
The lead battle opened the door for Ollie Jackson to slip ahead of Ingram into turn three.
Sutton made a stunning start, making up five places in three laps, before passing both Stephen Jelley and Rory Butcher on lap four.
He was then able to pass Ingram on lap six before closing into the back of Jackson.
Sutton then passed the Ford driver into the turn 2 hairpin. and then set about closing the gap to Turkington.
He then made a quick pass on the Team BMW driver, before going on to win and take his second victory of the season ahead of Turkington.
Ingram had overtaken Jackson for the final podium position but lost out after going wide at Palmer.
Jackson was able to hold on to claim his first podium of the year just ahead of Ingram.
Butcher held onto fifth just in front of Tom Oliphant, Jelley and Adam Morgan.
Jack Goff and Aidan Moffat complete the top ten.
